Hi Paul!
We are now back
in Sweden were
we have 15
degrees and rain..
it was much
nicer weather in
Tanzania! Thank
you so much for
two fantastic
weeks, you
really made us
feel comfortable
and it has been
the trip of our
lives!
We also loved
Zanzibar but we
really missed
the mainland
with all the
animals and the
open road. We
have shown a lot
of pictures to
our family and
we found out
that no pictures
can describe our
experience. But
we did get a lot
of good pictures
:)
We will come down again, as we said, and then we really hope that we could meet you!
Good luck with everything and we hope that your business
really takes off. We would do anything we can to promote your
business. Hope you got to spend some nice days with your family
and that they all are well.
Best regards,
Linda & Daniel Griffiths

Habari Pablo,
Hello to all the people who are
reading this comment.
We are Baukje and Arnold van
Rijn from Holland.
February and March 2009 we have
been working and travelling in
Tanzania. For me, Baukje, it was
the third time.
I have met Pablo the first time,
four years ago in Haydom. There
I was working in the hospital.
Pablo is a very open and honest person. From that time on we are mailing often.
The second time, two years ago, I have been to Tanzania with my husband.
And of course we have been on safari with Pablo and his private cook Husseini.
Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Lake Manyara, Tarangira and Arusha National Park.
Really unforgettable!
This year we wanted to go to Haydom, for meeting friends of
the hospital. The roads are really very bad so we need a
good, safe driver. We were lucky, Pablo would be our driver. We
had a lot of fun, but also good conversations.
Pablo had arranged a cover for the spare wheel of our Toyota.
Now we are driving with this cover through Holland making promotion of his Flamingo tours
& safari company.
About two years we hope to come to Tanzania again, so we will meet again.
Much greetings,
Tutaonana. |

Dear Pablo and Noel,
A few months ago we went on a
wonderfull safari with you.
We really did not know what to
expect, but you surprised us
with your friendlyness, your
service and knowledge and Noels
great cooking!
Pablo was so kind to pick us up
from the busstation in Arusha
and brought us to a nice hotel
to stay for the night. The next
day we could already leave for
safari!
We went on a three day safari,
to Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro
crater and Tarangire national
park. Pablo knew exactly where
to look for us to see the most
animals and we saw more animals
then we thought we would. We
actually saw the big five! In
Lake Manyara we saw lots of
elephants and buffalos (and of
course giraffes, zebras, dikdiks,
lots of birds, wildebeasts,
etc), in Ngorongoro crater we
saw our first lion! We actually
saw lions preparing for hunting
some zebras, but they probably
weren't very hungry.. they just
let them walk. And there was a
lion right next to our jeep! It
was amazing, she was so close!
Very far from our car, hidden in
the grass, we have seen two of
the 32 black rhinos still alive..
The final day, in Tarangire, we
had the luck another guide had
spotted a leopard behind a big
rock. The leopard was sleeping,
but after a long time she showed
us her head. It was beautifull.
Pablo told us it is very hard to
find leopards so we were very
lucky that day.
After those three days we were
very tired but we also felt very
lucky. Pablo took good care of
us, we saw lots of animals, we
had a great time and we were
really surprised to have Noel
cook for just the two of us, it
was so much more luxurious than
we could ever imagine.
We will recommend you to
everyone who is interested in
going on a great safari, thank
you again for the wonderfull
time!!
Asante sana!

Hi Evelyn,
Just to let you know, Erik and I had a great time on the Safari! Pablo met us
the first day in Arusha and introduced us to the driver-guide Pierre and the
next morning, we left for Serengeti via the Ngorongoro crater rim, saw many
Giraffes, zebras and Wilderbeests and when we got to Serengeti, it was totally
breathtaking! We saw about 30 lions in total, hundreds of hippos in the
Hippo
pool, a leopard, lots of buffalos, 2 cheetas, hyenas, warthogs, lions eating
a buffalo right next to our jeep and flamingoes in the distance. The packed
lunches were good too, and Pierre was very knowledgeable though he looked like
he was 15! I will send you photos once I
get a moment to upload them onto my PC so you can put it up on the website. The
jeep was a bit run down but we didnt really mind - some of my picky banker
friends may though...but I will recommend Pablo and Flamingo tours nevertheless as you guys were fabulous!
Thanks also for taking care of the transfers to/from Nairobi. All the immigration formalities went smoothly.
Happy to report also that we had no stomach bugs and came back healthy! We
miss Tanzania already so hope to go back again sometime soon.
Thanks a lot again,
Yuki & Erik |

Jambo Pablo,
Habari za asubui?
We just got back to New York Friday night. The four days in Zanzibar was very relaxing. I want to thank you for giving us such an amazing experience in
Africa. It is really the guide that makes the difference on a trip like this and we could not have asked for anything
more. We knew that your number one priority was making sure that we had everything we needed and got to do
everything we intended to do, even with the mix up in the itinerary. We all learned so much on this trip and I can
definitely say that I am a better person for having been to Africa. I hope you enjoyed spending the week with us as well.
The pictures are amazing. It may take
me a couple weeks, but I will send you a
package with pictures and CDs, so keep
an eye out for it.
I hope you got your two weeks off. Talk
to you soon and good luck with your new
company.

Jambo Evelyn/Pablo ,
yes being on safari with
Pablo was a lot of fun ,
especially as it was just us
& captain Cook , so we had a
lot of flexibility re
getting going / changing the
plan on a whim if we felt
like it .I especially think
its a great choice for those
who dont want to be ina
group , because the one on
one conversations are great
.
Thanks for also taking the
time to share ( Flugence)
your home with us &
introduce me to your parents
.
I hope they get the roof on
the house this year ...
Heres a couple of shots of
Pablo & I in the
serengeti camp......& the
Chui kill
Thanks Evelyn for all your
patience in answering all my
questions .
hakunamatata!!

"We
had a great trip with Flamingo Safaris and Pablo was a
very good guide who obviously knows his stuff. We had
our own itinerary in mind and in using Pablo's advice and
by taking all of our requirements into consideration he
came up with a well planned and well executed trip. The
food and facilities were excellent and we saw everything
that we had set out to see. I would be happy to use this
company again and would recommend Flamingo Safaris to
anyone else who is planning on a safari." |
