Tarangire
National park, Lake Manyara National park and Arusha
National park can be done from Arusha as a day-trip, it
will be tough, but it is not impossible. Though for a
better understanding in the wonders of nature we would
recommend to travel with overnight-stays and so connect
a few National parks of the area.
The classical safari lasts 3-4 days and combines
Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara.
optional (extra costs): stop enroute for a visit in a Massai-village,
watch the Massai-people dancing and listen to their explanations
about tribal life / walk with armed ranger along the crater-rim
while spotting wildlife down on the crater-floor

Safari 3 days
2 nights: |

Day 1: Depart Arusha around 9am,
drive all the way
to Serengeti-plains, game-drive enroute, overnight
on camp-ground or lodge in Seronera
Day 2: after or even before breakfast game-drive in Serengeti,
lunch, afternoon game-drive and we'll make our way to
Ngorongoro-conservation-area, overnight on camp-ground or in one
of the lodges, both with views over the crater
Day 3: after very early breakfast drive down onto the Ngorongoro-crater
for
game-drive, lunch and in the afternoon we're heading back to
Arusha, arriving before darkness. |

3 nights: |

|
Day 1: Depart Arusha around 9am
to Lake Manyara, game-drive in the afternoon, overnight
on camp-ground
optional: hike with a guide along the rim of the Rift
Valley, overlook lake Manyara, try and spot elephants,
buffalos... from above, there's also a waterfall
Day 2: after breakfast drive to the famous Serengeti-plains,
game-drive and overnight on camp-ground, see and understand why
not only the Grzimek's loved it so much
optional: stop enroute for a visit in a Massai-village,
watch the Massai-people dancing and listen to their explanations
about tribal life
Day 3: after breakfast drive to Ngorongoro-crater,
game-drive before lunch and afternoon, watching sunset and
overnight on camp-ground
optional: walk with armed ranger along the crater-rim

Tarangire-Nationalpark, game-drive, the park is famous
for its elephants, drive back to Arusha late afternoon before

Day 1: Depart
Arusha around 9am to Lake Manyara afternoon game
drive after sunset drive to Kiboko bush camp/ Lodge for dinner
and overnight.
Day 2: Wake early for breakfast then proceed with early morning
game in Lake Manyara, stop for lunch at the picnic site
later drive to Ngorongoro bush camp/lodge for dinner and
overnight.
Day 3: After breakfast drive to Serengeti en-route game drive
via Ngorongoro conservation area picnic lunch at
Olduvai Gorge later proceed to the centre of Serengeti
for sunset game viewing then drive to Seronera
camp/ Lodge
for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Wake early and call for a light then enjoy sunrise game
drive around Serengeti later drive to the camp/ lodge for
hot brunch and short rest, in the afternoon continue with game
drive till sunset, back to the camp/lodge for dinner and
overnight.
Day 5: Half day game drive in Serengeti after lunch
proceed with game en-route towards Ngorongoro dinner and
overnight on the crater rim.
Day 6: After breakfast descend to the crater floor for a
full day crater tour, stop for lunch at picnic site then proceed
with game drive later ascend and drive to panorama camp for
dinner and overnight.
Day 7: After breakfast drive to Tarangire national park
for a day game drive searching for big herds of elephants and
big cats after lunch drive back to Arusha. |

Day 1: Pick up
after breakfast drive to Arusha national park for half
day walking around the park through tropical rain forest and
water falls after lunch half day game drive later drive to the
camp/ lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: After breakfast drive to Tarangire national park
for afternoon game drive after sunset drive to the camp/ lodge
for D/O.
Day 3: After breakfast enjoy the early morning game drive after
lunch drive to Kiboko bush camp for leisure followed by D/O.
Day 4: After breakfast walk around lake shore and rift valley
escarpment visit the water falls then walk back for lunch later
proceed with game drive in Lake Manyara national park
till sun down back to the campsite for D/O.
Day 5: Wake up early morning for breakfast early morning game
drive, picnic lunch in the park then proceed with the game drive,
later drive to Ngorongoro bush camp for D/O.
Day 6: After breakfast en-route game drive towards Serengeti
national park, stop for lunch at Olduvai Gorge, later
drive to Seronera for sunset game viewing D/O at Seronera
camp/ lodge.
Day 7: All day spend in Serengeti national park searching
for big cats, D/O in Seronera camp/ lodge.
Day 8: After light breakfast enjoy sunrise game drive till noon
drive to the camp/ lodge for brunch later proceed with en-route
game viewing towards Ngorongoro D/O at Simba camp/ lodge.
Day 9: After breakfast descend to the crater floor for a full
day crater tour, later drive to Lake Eyasi bush camp for
D/O.
Day 10: After breakfast visit the Bushmen (Hadzabe tribe) then
back to the camp for lunch, later drive back to Arusha.

13 nights: |

Day 1: Depart
Arusha around 09:00 am for Arusha national park half day walk around
the park after lunch proceeds with game drive then D/O at
camp/lodge.
Day 2: After breakfast drive to Tarangire national park for
afternoon game drive till sunset drive to the cam site/ lodge
for D/O.
Day 3: After breakfast early morning game drive then back to the
camp/ lodge for hot lunch later drive to Kiboko bush camp for
D/O.
Day 4: After breakfast walk on the rimtop Lake Manyara watching
different species of birds around the Great Rift Valley and local
farmers later back to the camp/lodge for lunch then enter Lake
Manyara national park for game drive till sun down drive back
for D/O.
Day 5: Wake up early for breakfast then enjoy the early morning
game drive, break for picnic lunch then continue with the game
drive later drive to Ngorongoro bush camp for D/O.
Day 6: After breakfast drive to Serengeti national park en-route
game drive across Ngorongoro conservation area picnic lunch at
Olduvai Gorge later drive to centre part of Serengeti
for sunset game drive then D/O at Seronera campsite/ lodge.
Day 7: All day spend in Serengeti enjoying game drive D/O at the
camp/lodge.
Day 8: After light breakfast early morning game drive till noon
drive to the camp/ lodge for hot lunch then proceed with
en-route game drive towards Ngorongoro D/O on the crater rim.
Day 9: After breakfast descend to the crater floor for a full
day crater tour, break for picnic lunch later in the afternoon
drive to the other side of crater for D/O.
Day 10: After breakfast walk to Olmoti crater visit the
waterfalls and Flamingos on the Lake later drive to Ngorongoro
bush camp for D/O.
Day 11: After breakfast drive to Lake Eyasi Visit the
Bushmen (Hadzabe tribe) after lunch Lake Eyasi tour observe the
different species of water birds, later drive to the camp/lodge
for D/O.
Day 12: Wakeup early for light breakfast then join the Bushmen
gang for local hunting later back to camp for brunch then drive
to Kilimanjaro for D/O at Buffalo hotel.
Day 13: After breakfast collect your lunch box then drive to
Marangu gate for walking around Kilimanjaro Mountain visit
the waterfalls and enjoy the brief taking views on the foot
hills of Kilimanjaro Mountain later drive back to Arusha for D/O
at the hotel of your choice. End of service. |
